  DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRAVEL, TRIP AND JOURNEY. A couple of days ago, some students from the 4th year asked me a question that usually comes to their minds. That is why I dediced to write this post so that they can finally differenciate the concepts porperly.  -TRAVEL is a verb (meaning "viajar") It  refers to the activity of moving form one place to another ( I want to travel the world ). It is also an uncuontable noun ( He told us about his travels to Asia) -TRIP refers to travalling short distances, or an unusual or particular journey, as going on holidays. It is a noun, meaning "viaje". It is the word we use to indicate that we are going to stay in the place ( A trip to Hawaii is the trip of my dreams or I didn't enjoy our trip to Mallorca last summer) -JOURNEY is used to refer to travelling a long distance, or travelling regularly. It can also describe going form one point to another ( How was your journey from Madrid to Barcelona? ) You can also have a look

USEFUL EXPRESSIONS  TIP!!! TO RING A BELL.   🔔 This is an idiom that we use when something is familiar to us.  Meaning: to cause someone to remember something ex: Your face rings a bell (with me)        I never met her, but her voice rings a bell.
